April 29th observations

Well, nothing new on GrammarBlog, so I’m going to have a look at a few more of their links.

SPOGG is the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar. Self-explanatory, I’d say.

Really, isn’t it great that there are people passionate enough about grammar and its correct usage to establish sites like these? I mean, I would if I knew how and had the time and thought I knew enough about it to really come across as an authority on the topic.

Which, by the way, I think Gez from GrammarBlog does. I haven’t really seen him put a foot wrong.

I’ve searched for Australian versions of these grammar blogs, but haven’t come up with anything humorous, intelligent or witty. Why? Maybe someone should start one!
